She was born on June 6, 1974 named Anna M. Stetler in the Philippines but she grew up in Irvine, California, United States, as her family moved to the US when she was little. She was a cheerleader and member of the honor society in high school. Her father was in the military and her mother was a restaurant manager, and when they divorced Leanni became angry, started to smoke marijuana and was expelled from the cheerleader team.
